If you are an experienced artist or business professional with a love for the arts and are hoping to join a board of directors, send a cover letter expressing your passion and particular arts genre(s) of interest along with your CV to the Volunteer Coordinator at mail@torontoarts.org and we’ll pass your information along to suitable organizations.
Additionally, if you are interested in contributing administration skills or graphic design skills to the Toronto Arts Foundation and the Toronto Arts Council, email our Volunteer Coordinator at mail@torontoarts.org. We often have a couple positions each year.
In both cases, you must include your CV in your email for us to be able to consider you for a position or recommend you to an arts organization as a potential board member.
Are you a university student interested in the work of the Foundation? We offer full- and part-time unpaid internships for university and community college students. Interns help in a variety of ways, including research, program coordination and special event planning for our Block-by-Block program, the Mayor’s Arts Awards Lunch, campaigns, symposia, and conferences. Internship positions, when available, are posted on our Opportunities page here.
Toronto’s arts organizations are fueled by the energy of new interns and volunteers. By volunteering you gain valuable experience in a wide variety of areas and become directly involved in Toronto arts scene. Join the Toronto Arts Volunteer Network today!
