Artists, cultural professionals and arts supporters who have made significant contributions to Toronto’s artistic and cultural life will be honoured on October 8th when the 2010 Toronto Arts Foundation Awards will be presented at the fifth annual Mayor’s Arts Awards Lunch, the last lunch to be hosted by outgoing Mayor David Miller.

Our close connection to Toronto's artistic community through the Toronto Arts Council gives us unique access to a highly qualified knowledge pool, an exceptional adjudication procedure, and deep understanding of how the arts and urban life interconnect.

By contributing to the Foundation, individuals, corporations, foundations, and other agencies have direct impact on the cultural life of our city through our innovative programs which award excellence, cultivate artistic potential, engage community members and create lasting legacy.

Donations to the Toronto Arts Foundation support our city’s artists and organizations. We fund creative expression and foster emerging talent in theatre, visual and media arts, literature, community arts, dance, and music. Your donation will be recognized on our website, in our Annual Report, in our newsletter, in Toronto Arts Insider, and in the Mayor’s Arts Awards Lunch programme.
