The Mayor's Arts Awards Lunch has become the one event that truly celebrates all the arts in Toronto and the vitality of both young and seasoned contributors.

Make a Donor-Advised Gift

If you donate $2,500 or more, you can choose the discipline you’d like to support— dance, music, visual arts, theatre, or programs that engage youth in the arts. Funds are distributed through the Toronto Arts Fund, which utilizes the Toronto Arts Council’s grant review program.

Gifts over $5,000 can also be directed toward our major programs—The Mayor’s Arts Awards Lunch, the Toronto Arts Foundation Arts Awards, Incubate, and Creative City: Block by Block.

Donate to the TRACY WRIGHT MEMORIAL FUND

This fund was established by John McKellar, Chair of the Toronto Arts Council, in memory of respected Toronto actor, Tracy Wright, who died in June 2010.

The Toronto Arts Foundation will administer the fund. Plans are underway to establish an award in Tracy's name to an emerging Toronto theatrical creative artist for study or mentorship outside Canada. Details of the award will be announced in the coming months.

You can donate any amount to the Fund in the following ways:

Other Ways to Give

There are many other ways to give. You can customize your giving through:

• structured payment plans (over two years)—choose a monthly amount to donate, and we’ll take care of the rest.
• bequests—through your Will, you can give personal property or assets to the Toronto Arts Foundation. A bequest may be for a specific amount or percentage of your estate.

• gifts of shares or assets—you can donate shares, securities, or other assets.
• gifts of insurance—lets you make a significant gift at some time in the future.

Your financial advisor can help you decide the kind of customized giving that’s right for you. A small percentage of all donor-designated gifts will be applied to management fees. This amount will be specified at the time of confirmation of your gift.
